The Year 2009

It has been awhile......I was supposed to upload stories and news of my activities before December 2009. I haven't got time. Now, is the time. Where did I go last year? I went to Turkey in June and Taiwan in November. I was sent by BC Malaysia to Taiwan to participate in an Education Seminar of International Connecting Classroom in Taipei City, Taiwan. I met a lot of new friends from 7 countries. The best of all, I met Andrea Jordan and Robin Stevens of UK. They are my school's partner in BCCC programme. I met Soong Suk of Korea, Hau of Vietnam, Indrawati of Indonesia, Yuppadee of Thailand and Norashikin Abu Bakar of Johor, Malaysia.

The programme has linked schools from 7 countries and we were sent to 6 cities in Taiwan. I was happy enough to be stationed in Taipei City itself. But I would be happier if I were to be sent to another city and get to travel in a High Speed Train in Taiwan. The sight in the country is awesome. Tower 101 is our target there as we don't get to take the fastest lift drive up a the 3 tallest building in the world everyday! My excursion and adventure from 24 November till 30 November , 2009 in Taiwan was the second best after my trip to Turkey. Anywhere you go in this world, it is your country is always in your heart! Travelling makes you more open-minded, more tolerance of any inconvenient or discomfort that had along the journey. The challenges make you tougher, wiser and more importantly, be thankful of what you have. Alhamdullillah Syukran!
